RosterBuster Claims Top-10 Spot in MKB Innovation Awards
The Dutch chamber of commerce (KvK) announced the Top-100 most innovative SMB companies of 2018 on wednesday 26th of September. RosterBuster claimed a top-10 spot by finishing 7th. The jury praised the way RosterBuster helps crews to be more connected at work.
In a packed theater in Apeldoorn, we waited with the other nominees until the results were announced. This happened in descending order, so it took quite a while before RosterBuster was in the spotlight. It was especially great to see that the jury really understood our disruptive concept: designed by airline crew from the ground up and now ready to make a difference for airlines.
For me personally it was a special moment, because in 2011 I was ranked 13th with my previous company Gamebasics. An achievement that was very important for us back then. The year after, we accelerated and became a leading mobile game studio in The Netherlands.
Now RosterBuster is ranked even higher. So who knows what kind of growth is in store for us! The 7th spot positions us as the top ranking traveltech company in The Netherlands as well as the only company from Zoetermeer to have made the list.
We see this ranking as a compliment for our development and direction, but also to RosterBuster’s original founders: a British Airways pilot and an air traffic controller. And of course for our entire team, among which there are many students of The Hague University, which have played a big role in our success. It makes me very proud on what we have achieved together in the few years that this company exists.
